Ready to use in four steps

Activate the pet tag, set up the digital pet profile and attach it securely to the collar or harness.

Scan the QR code, open the DynaTag WebApp and link the pet tag to your personal user account.

2. Set up the pet profile

Add contact details, pet information, health information, photos and important notes.

3. Attach the pet tag

Securely attach the tag to the pet's collar or harness using a suitable attachment ring.

4. Check the information

Securely attached to the collar or harness

How to attach the pet tag correctly

Attach the pet tag with a suitable ring to the designated ring on the collar or harness. The tag should remain free to move and be clearly visible from the outside.

• Choose the correct ring size for the collar or harness
• Close the ring completely and check that it is secure
• Attach the pet tag so that it can move freely and remains clearly visible
• Regularly check the tag and attachment ring for damage
• Check the engraving and test-scan the QR code

Important: Never attach the dog lead to the pet tag ring. This ring is intended solely for attaching the tag.

Keep the QR code and engraving clearly legible

Cleaning and care

If necessary, carefully clean the aluminium pet tag with lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft cloth or soft brush. Apply only light pressure to the QR code and engraved surface.

Protect the tag from heavy impacts, deep scratches and prolonged abrasion wherever possible so that both the laser engraving and QR code remain reliably legible.

What is the paw-shaped aluminium pet tag with QR code and laser engraving?

What information is available digitally and as engraving?

Depending on your personal settings, the digital pet profile can display information including:

Short essential details such as the pet’s name, a telephone number with international dialling code or a brief note are suitable for laser engraving. For good legibility, we recommend no more than four short lines of text.

What happens when someone scans the QR code?

The personal pet profile opens directly in the smartphone browser. The finder does not need an additional app or their own user account and can view the information you have shared and contact the people listed.

A location is shared only if the finder actively uses this function and gives their explicit consent.

Can I change the digital information and laser engraving later?

You can add to or update the digital contact, pet and health information at any time through your DynaTag account using a smartphone, tablet or computer.

The laser engraving is permanently applied to the pet tag and cannot be changed afterwards. A new pet tag is required for new engraved text.

How secure is my data in the WebApp?

The information is stored on secure servers in Switzerland. You manage it through your personal DynaTag account and decide which details are visible after scanning.

Are there any subscription fees or monthly costs?

No. The purchase includes use of the digital pet profile for five years without a subscription or monthly fees. The period of use can then be extended for a further one-off fee.

Can I track the location of my missing pet?

No. The SOS pet tag is not a GPS tracker and cannot actively or continuously locate your pet. It contains neither GPS nor a battery.

After scanning the QR code, the finder can voluntarily share the location of their own smartphone. This happens only with their explicit consent.
